WHY NOT NOW is a new line that focuses on denim and innerwear. Denim and innerwear are timeless and always close to the skin.
What if we could get close to and love those who are indispensable to us?
It was from this idea that WHY NOT NOW was born.

This time, we interviewed the designer about his particular concerns regarding some of the items being released this fall and winter.

"Wetter Denim" Color: Gray　　　

"The overall wide silhouette is a distinctive feature of this item. The reason for making the denim sleeve wide is that, with the traditional mood currently in vogue, a loose, baggy style goes well with a formal navy blazer. Also, by pairing the baggy denim with a compact Vienna thermal, you can create a casual style that is characteristic of WHY NOT NOW, giving it a modern impression. In addition to the width of the sleeve, the point is also that the waist is intentionally made loose."

"The reason I chose gray as the denim color this time is because black isChaosOriginally, gray denim starts from black denim, but by intentionally processing it to light gray, it has a deep color. The reason for choosing gray is that this season'sChaosGray is essential for styling and matches the mood. "Now at Denim" Colors: New Gray, New Black, Vintage Blue, Rigid Blue　　

"The greatest focus of this denim is on the processing of the material. For example, Vintage Blue undergoes multiple processes to express a realistic vintage feel. This recreates a rich expression. While inheriting the charm of real vintage, we have added modern elements. We paid particular attention to the fine details of the stitching, and our original Neova buttons feature a delicate logo. On the other hand, Rigid Blue is developed with a special thought in mind, so that you can enjoy the changes that occur over time in the garment. By not processing it, the natural expression of the fabric stands out, and it changes to suit the wearer's personality, allowing you to enjoy nurturing it into a one-of-a-kind piece."

"Well Half Zip Sweat, Well Sweat Pants" Colors: Ivory, Navy　　　　　

"The most important aspect of this sweatshirt is the material. We've used our original yarn-making techniques to provide organic oatmeal fleece. MVS spinning gives it a nice dry touch. It's knitted on a higher-gauge knitting machine than normal, giving it a sharp surface and a sense of tension. The loops on the back are also tight, giving it a clean, sharp finish. It's a fabric that doesn't sag easily and creates a beautiful silhouette. The oatmeal is used as is for the top, while the navy has been specially overdyed."

*MVS spinning is an abbreviation for Modified Vortex Spinning. It is a type of special spinning technique that spins fibers in a spiral shape. MVS spinning can control the twist of the yarn, improving the strength and uniformity of the yarn. It can also give the yarn a specific texture and feel. It is used to produce higher quality and more comfortable materials than regular spinning methods.

"Warren Denim Shirt" Color: Light Blue

"This denim shirt is made from a richly textured, light-weight denim that is neither too thick nor too thin. We used soft organic cotton for the material, considering that this shirt will often come into direct contact with bare skin. It has the twill texture that is characteristic of denim, but is not too delicate. The design retains the details that are typical of workwear, while focusing on a silhouette and size that is perfect for mature women. This denim shirt is a versatile item that can be worn on its own or as a light jacket. We particularly recommend pairing the denim shirt with a navy blazer for a traditional style.
