The coat fabric uses Australian Merino wool SUPER120 and SUPER140 for the warp and weft. Although it is 100% wool, it is a very high-quality material that is said to be equivalent to cashmere. By using these high-quality materials, the fabric is very supple yet has a unique soft feel. Furthermore, a special technique called fulling is used to process the fabric.
This method compresses the fabric, giving it more firmness and a unique texture and sheen, creating a melton finish. It's also incredibly smooth to the touch, yet resistant to pilling.
